Several modders left Nexus due to a policy regarding "collections" and Nexus not allowing modders to delete their mods anymore or something like that.

This happened last year (I think) though, so it's not that recently.

Weird.
Managed to find the mods I needed though, there is a document someone made with links to the other sites they moved to and thankfully it's all over at loverslab.

I don't expect everything in the game to 'pop' but this is one of those times where I feel like it really should, and it doesn't.

I love The Warriors film for example but it is pretty stupid that gangs would wear such obvious things to make themselves stand out and making them an easy target for other gangs or cops. But without those exaggerated costumes I doubt I'd find the film even remotely as interesting.

Flair over substance is bad. But I gotta have a bit of flair.

Reactivity: I don't care how good a games reactivity is if I don't care about what it is reacting towards.
Investigation: I get what you mean, but intended design and final outcome just doesn't mesh with me.

Backlog: I'm giving games a fair chance. I'm not rushing towards the end of the backlog. I'm just simple bored. The game isn't interesting to me.

Fallout-esque: There are so many more things that make Fallout what it is and Atom lacks so much of it. Superficially certain mechanics and how the game plays out feels like Fallout but that's like wearing a shitty poorly stitched together skinsuit.

And what if it comes for someone else?

Pretend it's not happening, until someone I know dies, at which point I get freaked out at the prospect of not existing.

Yeah, it's the "someone I know" thing that I don't know how to deal with when it comes, never happened to me. Anyone in my family that has died was barely involved in my life so I've never had anyone close to me die so I have no idea how I'm gonna process it when it inevitably happens.

Gunplay feels better. Movement feels better. The MAKO feels better. The open world parts are way better designed. Powers are more fun to use. :)

After that a lot of combat becomes pretty trivialized and you can enjoy the story and setting.

Companions don't scale to you but do level up with you so try to get charisma up as quickly as possible to allow for 4 followers and then go and collect the ones I listed as soon as possible so that they won't fall too far behind level wise.

Honestly, Arcanum is a shit game. There are so many damn flaws with it that I understand completely if someone doesn't want to play it but... It's got something. A charm to it, something you won't see unless you stick with it.

Ah, I figured it out. Created a new storage space in control panel, chose simple rather than mirror tho.
