Like T-60 Power Armor, which makes no fucking sense at all since even Bethesda in the SAME GAME says T-50 was the most advanced model Pre-War. T-60 could’ve easily been the BOS upgrading the T-45 after Fallout 3 Enclave tech, but nope. Same with APA also not being Post-War anymore and just sitting there in Nuka World.

With all those said, I am gonna applaud you damn hard if you can salvage F76 lore. Like you propose before, some stuff are worth it givent hat Emilio gone and newly added stuff are actually mildly interesting.

Amazon does a lot of decent low budget movies too. I realize people hate them due to LotR and other shit like that but I'm not a religious fanatic so it does not bother me.

And that extra effort really shows. I’ve seen countless games and movies and shows set in California that just slap any desert cacti and shrubbery including saguaros. Like I said even Cyberpunk did this, saguaros in California. I’m very agitated when I see this common mistake.

I think the Saguaro can only be found with the FLora Overhaul Mod.

Everyone calls it the real Star Trek but it is too goofy to honestly meet that standard but it is a good replacement considering what we have to work with.

I'd consider it a very good spiritual successor to Star Trek. If the new Star Trek shows are anything to go by, we won't be seeing a proper official Star Trek again. I'd gladly accept a prosperous future for The Orville, the show has been very fun so far. The first few episodes kinda have some Family Guy-ish humor, but the show quickly adapts into just a good show overall.

I almost feel like Seth MacFarlane tricked the FOX executives by pitching "Family Guy meets Star Trek in live-action" and then just started making his dream show. It really does feel like it's made from passion and not just to bolster TV ratings like most other modern Seth shows. Not a fan of Seth's work, but I'd say this is the exception.

They can try but the truth is the lore in the series has always been convoluted and fucked up. I genuinely think they are trying but they have no clue.

I am not even sure if they are trying Toront. The new series are not really helping with the lore problems in the timeline.
Kurtzman and circus (heh) jumped onto Pike the moment he was well received. Pike series will conflict with original series.

I have not touched any Star Trek show under the Kurtzman banner. The only exposure I’ve had to those shows are through clips of RedLetterMedia losing their mind over it and thus my love for TNG isn’t faltered.

I didn’t know about Star Trek Resurgence, I suppose that counts as a modern Trek game coming out. Although, from the trailer I don’t really have an opinion other than “hm.”
From what I’ve seen on my search, the only good modern Star Trek “game” is a mod for Stellaris.

I am also not completely sold on Resurgence. Only reason I might want to give it a chance is because it has been a log time since we last saw a non online or mobile Trek game.

I don’t mind the clear-cut homage to Star Trek with this show. It just feels nice to me to have Star Trek on TV again, even if sadly they had to make a carbon clone as the actual franchise is being Kurtzman’d.

True. I also miss what Star Trek used to be.
I don't mind a more serialized version for a change, perhaps with mini story arcs like on Enterprise, but not what it has become now and will not return from.
Will be interesting to see how long the Orville will continue.

Is just ok. Secret World is a better game.

I just started playing SWTOR like a week ago, digging it so far. My biggest complaint though is the classic BioWare moment where you select a badass dialogue option and your character says some stock recycled one liner that had nothing to do with the dialogue I picked. Can’t stand that, would honestly rather have my protag be silent than feel cucked like that.

Yeah I got to lvl 20 or so. Not bad but Secret World is how MMO's should be in the future as far as quest design.

Fallout fixt also fixed some endings. I think one was bugged and another had its quest removed making two endings impossible to get without fallout fixt. Dont know if et tu keeps that or naw

Ah yes you're right. I haven't gotten there yet, but I'll see when I do. So far I've been taking my time and just enjoying it this game all over again

Yeah the endings is a killer for me. Personally I'd prefer to just have a patched F1 with no additions barring those that make the good endings possible.

No doubt about it, it's very bad. I'm mostly referring to the dev team and not only how they handled criticism, but also the role playing elements and such they had in their mod. Even if the writing was awful. I don't like the mod's story anymore than I did originally, but I respect it a bit more as a fan project now.
