I always wanted to get my self a copy of "With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa". It's written by Eugene Sledge, which was also used for the TV-Show the Pacific. Apparantly, it is a very different kind of WW2-War book, since Euge actually didn't intend to release it, but rather to explain how the experience in WW2 affected him.
