after Amerigo Vespucci, since it would be more logical to name the continent after someone's last name, rather than first - so it should be "Vespuccia". What kind of rationalization is this - what what's the point!?
The attitude seemed like that of scepticism, that America was named after Amerigo in the first place. But you might see this now and again, where people will dismiss observable reality, for their own theoretical logic
So... according to this person, America is "more likely" named after something else, some mystery, something we have yet to find out - OR... America was always actually logically called Vespuccia, and we all just never noticed.
