It is a dumbed-down facsimile of what it once was and it will continue to decay until the next faze sets in. Not saying I had any fondness for it but I just find it funny. You see a gang banger talking about Goku or some whores wanting to suck Captain America's cock.

Then you have Geek&Sundry, Rooster Teeth, IGN all of these big corporations and it wasn't long ago when they were just some randoms on the internet, or personalities on G4.

Everything just comes off as artificial, clean, made for television. These people used to at least come off as genuine if not funny. Even with youtube creators you have to dig through the shit to find any creator worth their salt. In a sea of streamerfags, million subscriber nobodies, 'critique' posting psueds, and old creators who have long since lost their will to keep going.

Their will be some new blood that are pretty good, but they are the minority in an ocean. This whole thing is too big, too many people and too much money involved to be experimental or push any lines to be in danger of being actually entertaining.

I'm still a young man unlike most of you old fucks and I can't wait to see how long this will go on before the bubble pops and being 'geeky' or being a 'gamer' stops being cool in the eyes of the mainstream.

Calling yourself a gamer will one day land you with a hate crime. Unless of course you join the MIB and strip yourself of all labels. Then you will get augments.
