I like this trend that grew forth in Spain maybe a decade back or more - possibly other places, but I only saw it in Spain - like an expression of the post-CD world - people would decorate the edges and rims around their apartment windows and balconies with disks hanging from strings. It would create this glitter effect seen from afar.
