The Dragon Ball Super manga has been doing retcons to make Bardock this central figure of the entire series, latest chapter basically stated that the only reason Goku is as strong as he is and did everything in OG Dragon Ball was because Bardock made a wish to some new secret dragon balls. And even lightly making fun of it is like Haram or some shit.
