Only DA:O. It was better than Witcher 1 in almost every way. Also serve as foil to fantasy dominated by LOTR influence. While also being truest successor to LOTR, because it improves upon it's idea that never get expanded (The Veil vs The Wraith-world for example).

The first one also has the only best companion lists throughout the series. It is one shot best game that is so anathema compared to what happened in 2010s. It's innovative as far as dark fantasy goes. The backstory system is as good as Choose Your Own Adventure games.

@KingArthur You will never enjoy Inquistion, considering that game was planned to be akin to MMO. Before developer scrapped that idea. I'll give you a hint, Bioware had copied Bethesda move ever since Dragon Age 2. That game was essentially Skyrim copypasta. It's no surprise that what some devs had in mind for Inquisition is basically their own version of ESO.

Seeing as the people in charge of old Bioware are mostly gone and all we have left are the schmucks in charge of Inquisition, I have a bad feeling about DA4.
Origins still holds up but better to install mods to fix the bugs that haven't been patched out (i.e. Jowan's resolution quest etc.).
