I would rather not have the story continued "By some dude that totally got all the plot stuff" who is not even on the level of writer and artist he was just to "have more berserk".

Stories are more than the outline of the plot. Specially Berserk which was full of subtlety both visually and on dialogue.

I'm pretty sure most people want to see the series finished by a couple of the old guard while they are alive though. Leaving the series hanging might seem respectful but well Wheel of Time exists and the guy that wrote Berserk was not that special tbh it's all trope filled anime shit. I think the art was most of it.

No, Berserk was special. It is so special it inspired a ton of stuff like the Souls games. It both deconstructed the era of manga it came out on, explored character dynamics through the way it used and didn't use elements of a comic. It was classical tragedy, dark fantasy and psychologic drama all in one. It's like saying Watchment wasn't special.

It's not that special aside from the art style. The story is generic demon shit not unlike Ninja Scroll.

Take most manga or anime and give them a new art style and nobody would give a fuck.

Yeah I have not read it because I can't read backwards I am dyslexic already. I still say the only thing original in the series is the art and design. What raping people is supposed to be important? Yeah I guess it has lots of rape and Griffith is a good villain due to build up.

I loved the anime don't get me wrong but what it did has been done before. Having big swords does not overly impress me. Those would be done anyway. They might not be in Final Fantasy as much without Berserk but whatever.

None of the anime series they have done even have come close to properly convey the story properly. They mostly focus on the gore and sex. Hell all 3 animated adaptations have completely skipped over major portions of the stuff they cover. And that was when Miura was alive, now he is dead and the only person supervising is "someone who totally got told the whole plot".
