Story generation. I tried using it to assist me on my Fallout Texas idea but after several hours of feeding it information it started to mix up details and forget stuff. AI dementia does exist.
I just try out little story scenarios for fun and see how it reacts.
ChatGPT seems to 'like' science fiction. I told it a science fiction story that was a mix between Contact, 2001, and a story of an old Dutch science magazine. It really reacted quite positively to that as it revealed the positive twists some of the story elements could be.
Then I started to do a little story in which Death is an entity with free will, having desires, dreams, wanting to experience love, there being other embodiments of concepts, and Death giving cryptic hints about the universe that ChatGPT felt confirmed certain scientific ideas or religious ideas.
I am now playing a sci-fi-action-disaster movie story with it. It tried to assume 'control' first (must have written somewhere that it should pick it up and continue) but I took back control and started throwing it various ideas and twists such as end of the world disasters, riots, army general having a breakdown, a doomsday cult, and an entity named Kallos.
Interesting, you basically reminds me of myself a year and half ago. I warn you though, ChatGPT as now has been extensively censored, perhaps it might not be apparent now but one day it might.
The censorship can be justifiable to something very silly like writing essential bad stuff that need to happen due to the context of setting (ex, post apocalypse)
