Also, he is a one man circus, you never know what the hell he will say next, which is of course integral to his style. I can lol when he aggressively rails against media, condemning their reporting of the things he say, as if news reports should be banned - then I frown, when I realize his supporters get to hear this very frequently - and whole-heartedly agree.

It was a genuine question. I was looking at opinion polls on the telegraph and saw this very question in a comment. Wanted to hear your thoughts. It's sad that a) Americans see this election as entertainment and b) that people assume every Trump supporter is a moron. I don't support his ideals, but I'm completely against Hillary.

The media polls are totally rigged in favour of Hillary, the candidate they all prefer. Also the left's arrogance will be their downfall. You can only avoid facts, statistics and legitimate arguments in favour of smug self righteousness and saying "vote for us or you're stupid/sexist/racist/buzzword" for so long until people get tired of it.

But Electoral votes in America can overrule opinion polls can't they? I've only started following US politics because of this "election" so I'm still unsure on a few things.

They can but depending on the State they can get in very big trouble for it if they just ignore that their State selected one candidate and they vote in for another and doing so would cause a very large uproar.

I'm telling you it's certain victory. Internal polls has almost every Trump supporter having total faith in him, he pulls crowds in the thousands multiple times a day, independent polls where people vote online show everyone thinks he's won all the debates, Clinton has some new legitimate scandal coming out every week.

The media can say "oy vey this is the end of drumpf's campaign" 100 times a day like always but it doesn't make it true. Their polls have all been found to over sample groups (some even conducted by """""Former""""" Hillary supporters) that would be anti-Trump so as to try and sell the American people a product (Hillary) that they don't want.
