Daughters should be spending more time with their mother, becoming more feminine. Not spending so much time with males which makes them more masculine.
The daugther father dynamic in modern games is about giving grown men teenage girls to look after, and they usually present the most rose colored image of being a parent figure. Excuse if I find it kinda creepy. Like adult babies.
No, I have actually had been the father figure to someone that I helped raise, and all this games present such an experience in this fetichized way that really rubs me the wrong way.
Because it's pretty fetichized in most examples. Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite specially breed people who have both a crush on their daugther character while buying the Father thing too.
I think theres a much stronger argument for that with Infinite than TLOU. Perhaps it's less the game fetishizing something and more people applying their already existing fetishes to something?
I guess TLOU doesn't have it as bad as BI because the girl there is a minor and that is a turn off for the majority, while BI literary makes her a year older than Legal so it lends itself more to that.
