wrong with them. same for kickass 2. however I think people are far too lenient on video game sequels. fallout 3&4, TES V, resident evil 5, halo 5 are all mediocre games and horrible sequels but on release and in the case of the first three
video games can rely on improved graphics, and make the same game over and over. Civilization is a good example. Movies have to offer more, since "graphics" count less. I hated "The Hangover" though, did nobody else notice the ripping off of Fear and Loathing? Or was it considered a kind of homage?
I know that, but I consider it ripping off anyway, simply poorly executed and lacking tact. I'm reacting mostly to the waking up in hotel room in Vegas scene, I kept expecting some sort of self-awareness regarding it, and it annoyed me
well it didn't bother me in the slightest. some concepts are bound to be done again and I don't mind as long as they're done differently enough y'know?
no they didn't. they were good. if you liked the first one then there's no reason you wouldn't like the second one. and the third? you cant claim its the same movie as with 2. im starting to think people don't know what they want.
