I used to be a dubfag that cringed everytime i watched Dragon Ball in Japanese. Now after watching Super in its entirety in Japanese, i like the Japanese dub and cringe when i hear the english dub.

Subs over dubs everytime.

Rewatch AoT in Japanese too. You'll see how Eren's Titan is much more badass when it doesn't sound like a auto tunned t-rex. Or how nasal and whinny Eng Dub Eren sounds. And Armin doesn't sound like a chicken going through puberty.

Might sound like a weaboo but Japanese VAs just go far and beyond with their craft, the American VAs need to be told if a role has screaming on it before they take it but it seems the Japanese ones train to scream their troats out during any role thus when a character roars in agony or anger during a battle it actually sounds more beleivable and badass.

I watched certain scenes of the Goku Black Arc that the english dub is right now and it just doesn't work for me. The Japanese VAs put a lot more emotion than the English VAs.
