Just too add some conflicting tactics to the mix. I prioritise a Thermo Generator, Uplink and an Officers Training School first, having six guys instead of four makes the tactical combat so much easier, did my first Terror Mission with 5 dudes with normal gear and two sets of carapace armour...

In response to one of those I am keen to try an all rookie terror mission and see what happens.

One of the upgrades ups the crit chance meaning they can do 7 damage. Managed 4 with a laser pistol when a Chrysalid jumped my sniper which isn't too shabby.

Realistically hip firing a rifle is about as accurate as trying to scope shot the target anyway. :P The normal pistol is crap but wack on some Foundry upgrades and use laser or plasma pistols and suddenly the piddly sidearm ain't so piddly.

Luck of the draw plays a big part in it I think, currently only lost India in the third month and no more since but did have 3 panicking countries almost every month. Luckily usually had Terror Missions in 5 panic countries and completing those calms the entire continent down a tad. Saving...

I'm hoping for some tasty toaster repair action as well. There was a legend in the wastes, where many cried at their lack of toasty action due to malfunctioning kitchen appliances one man took up the call. They called him, Toaster Repair Guy.

You forgot to speak in the third person. Anyone got a spare support? I only have one and a zillion snipers and heavies. Alternative tactics for the support, they make sodding good flankers. The smoke grenade coupled with the faster movement means they are damn good at battlefield control.
