    What exactly are you disagreeing with? I think we have already established that HtH_dam_perk should also apply to minimum damage, it's written in the description. And is there a reason to disallow perk and trait bonuses while wearing Knuckles and similar HtH weapons? I think not.

    Hmmm... Nope! :D This formula should apply to HtH combat: where min_damage_of_weapon=1 and max_damage_of_weapon=2 if the critter in question has no weapons. There is no reason not to allow HtH bonuses for weapons such as Power Fist. And I suggest that 'heavy_handed_bonus' should apply...
