Fallout 1, Windows 7, and the High Res mod

Hi all,
I have made Fallout 2 run on Windows 7 using SFall, but there is no real sfall for fallout 1 apparently.
I have installed 1.2 and 1.3.4 patches, and the game runs, but when I install the high res 2.2b mod, it causes the game to minimize whenever it starts, and I get nowhere.
has anyone had any luck getting the high res patch to work?

Try this:

Not many fancy options but scroll wheel works great.
Also apply patch 1.2 http://teamx.ru/system/files/uploads/u2/file/fallup12.rar or the error window will pop up saying the Fallout 1 1.2 US was expected.

The latest patch for F1 is 1.3.5. Using older versions with High-Res patch might lead to the problem you've described.
