Torment: Tides of Numenera Screenshot, FO3 DLC sale

Meh, I think it's fun. I'm imagining it being said in a thick Russian accent, with all the hand and head movements typical of a stereotypical Russian. I feel like I'm in a James Bond movie or something.

Torment: Tides of Numenera Screenshot, FO3 DLC sale

It's as you say, Lion: Herve Caen might've been the one presiding over the death throes of Interplay - and he surely didn't do anything to fix it - but the whole reason Caen (Titus) was able to pick up Interplay on the cheap was because its share price was tanking in the period Fargo was at the...

Rick Lion, you make great points. My sentiments exactly, actually. Also, Kyuu - while his competence as a developer isn't really in question (not really the issue); personally, it's his competence as CEO I'm worried about. Just look at what he did with (to) Interplay.

    A chance encounter between NMA'ers

Let me ask you this: how long have you known your current romantic interest? And do you really know EVERYTHING that transpired in her life before she met you?

The Torment Kickstarter was a smashing success!

Fargo's only going to spend it on beer and fancy hotels anyways

    A chance encounter between NMA'ers

I've had sex-filled weekends with Wooz over at his place in Warsaw, and over at my place in Bruges. Sex and Hearts of Iron. Good times. We always said we'd do it again, but I guess it never really quite came of it. I've had beers with Alec on a Ghent terrace. Suprisingly, he's actually a...

    What's a "human"?

Did you even bother to actually read the contents of the critiques against this project, including the ones in the article you yourself linked (which is, incidentally, the same one as I linked. Hence why I don't think you even bothered to read anything.)? Neuroscientists aren't claiming he's a...

    What's a "human"?

Jezus, Crni, this is a useless discussion. Education spending etc. is done by national governments, while this research grant is done by the EU. It's a totally different level. The European Union doesn't directly invest in social and education programmes on national levels (it does in...

    What's a "human"?

On the other hand, on the off chance this research leads to spectacular new brain treatments or groundbreaking new AI, the pay-off is going to be exponentially higher than this funding. As a long-term investment, I still think it's much better spent this way than throwing it at ghettos all over...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I actually found that moment pretty strange: the entire reason for the Blades to exist is to serve the Dragonborn (i.e. you), yet still they presume to tell you what to do. I was like, "fuck you bitch, who do you think you are" and let Parthunaax live. I found the Dawnguard DLC relatively...

    What's a "human"?

I don't know, I see it as a good thing to keep investing in cutting edge research despite current problems. AFAIK, all nations do that. You can't risk future growth (too much) because of current problems, after all.

    What's a "human"?

We'll each be pointing at the other guy, I guess - having the same brain doesn't mean we somehow merge into some sort of telepathic shared-brain superbeing. At least I don't think so, such a situation hasn't happened yet of course. But it seems unlikely.
