Вообще, конечно, поддержка популярных форматов это хорошо, но конкретно в этом случае тащить багаж из прошлого тысячелетия смысла я не вижу. Сейчас есть и форматы свободные, и кодеки, и библиотеки...

    Backup is in backup/rpu directory. I don't now why do you need in the first place, though. To get rid of rifle animations, just delete the corresponding dat from mods directory. As for skins, just don't use them? I'm not sure what's that about the red dog, you can open a github issue about...
