Editing car trunk (00000455.pro) with a hex editor?

I have been trying to figure out how to edit the amount of space in my car trunk (in fallout), but I just don't know how. The notepad ++ plugin is hard to understand.

If I have posted this in the wrong thread please let me know, as this is my first post and I am still figuring this website out.

Use the Proto Manager, open the car trunk proto file and change the max size setting to the desired value.

A plugin called Hex Editor which allows me to view files in hexdecimal
And I will use Proto manager, thank you.

Hmm, it says it is either a corrupted or unsupported file format. It does say it has an attribute of 'R/O', which I have no idea what that means.

R/O is Read Only. That shouldn't bother you.

I'm guessing you corrupted your file when fiddling with Notepad++. Delete it and let the Tool extract the proto by itself from the Master.dat file.

This seems like it should work, but do I have to replace my sfall 4.2 extended ddraw.dll with the one in the tweaks folder?
