Fallout 2 mod New voice for Cassidy

Hey guys. 1) It's indeed a very good Clint-Eastwoodish sound, as far as I'm concerned. Good recording, too. (My voice is at its roughest when I'm actually hangover, so maybe you could try that :)). 2) I'm not specifically looking to "enhance" RP. So far, I have my hands full just figuring out...

Fallout 1 mod Fallout Fixt - next release will be some time in Jan 2020

Sorry, I don't use Windows or Github app, so I don't know. Definitely not a setting in the repo. I mirrored latest msg files to https://github.com/BGforgeNet/fallout-fixt-translation for integration with translation system. If you want, it's possible to hook it directly to your repo, but that'll...

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 1 in Fallout 2

@Lexx man you rock! I was toying with idea of trying to make this work after UP/RP updates, but they turned out not that easy. 2 months, and packaging issues still haunt me. Goes to show that entire source, including the packaging scripts, should be open sourced. Not just game scripts. One...

A modding prefix for your mods

I don't think it's a good approach. A good approach would be to write scripts in such a way that execution order doesn't matter, which is what set_sfall_arg for. Making a mod dependent on script execution order will only lead to prefix arms race and in the end result in the same conflicting...

    UP and RP updates

Jonny's dialog is reverted for now, but I need saves to make a proper fix and test it. I need to be able to reproduce issues to fix them, the guide is on github.

Adding a second solar scorcher (or other ammo-less weapon)

Adding a check for light level and/or indoor/outdoor area in auto-recharge also should be easy enough. (Of course auto-recharge is slightly different from scorcher's "0 AP recharge", but arguably it's even better)

I vaguely remember getting it launched once, but I might be mistaken. Maybe that was original Jordan's version.

Does Fallout 2 have laggy animations?

Heavy armor reduces running speed (fps) slightly. Is it the same with no armor?

Adding a second solar scorcher (or other ammo-less weapon)

I don't quite understand the problem. Making it "use" a new ammo pid, and adding a script to auto recharge it after a shot should be enough, no?

    UP and RP updates

Honestly, choosing which settings to set by default is the least of my worries. First thing to do is to get it working at all. I think the main reason to suggest the installer is the reason to have it in the first place - more user friendly, less things can go wrong. The progress is tracked...

    Fallout 2 with RP 2.3.3 : I can't extract a brain from a companion

Sorry, just because the script compiles, doesn't mean it's working correctly. So what you really (say that you) have is 17000 operations which you think worked correctly. And like I said, it's quite likely that with a saner approach, there could've been a lot less of them. So while you might...

    UP and RP updates

I'd like to reiterate that bug reports should go to github, the readme has an instruction. RPU is not supposed to change any settings. (I'm pretty sure some more obvious issues will be found while the update is in infancy, that's why it's packaged with ease of removal in mind.)
