    Doom 4 anyone?!

Hehe, I remember my mother complaining about the violence in Wolfenstein and my father because my brother and me were always occupying his 386. A few years later we were allowed to use the school's computer room during lunch breaks. I remember pressing the - key while playing Carmageddon...

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Don't forget to try out your other idtech1 favourites with ZDoom ;) I recently had a blast replaying Heretic and Hexen that way.

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Slow movement fits in a game like Thief for example because it helps create a sense of tension and possibly fear. I never understood the desire to make otherwise tough marines or other action FPS PC move at a snail pace. (I never played Halo)

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Yes, that's one thing that's completely different in modern shooters, the player character now moves like an 80 year old asthmatic. I'm not sure what's the reasoning behind this design.

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Nope, it's an ok shooter but the huge "arena" like levels and waves of enemies in SS and Painkiller are not really my favourite type of gameplay . Also the "humour" and style don't really click with me. Doom 1 and 2 on the other hand never get old, I feel the urge to replay those at least...

    Vladmir Putin

I recently saw a documentary about a Putin "youth movement". I find it shocking how these teenagers and young adults are apparently above the law and can bully police, beat political adversaries and even make arrests...

    Doom 4 anyone?!

It's very easy to objectively list major differences between games like Doom, Serious Sam and The Darkness for example. Whether you like or dislike these differences/ changes is entirely subjective of course. I enjoyed the Serious Sam series and still play through the first SS with friends...

    InXile reveals Kickstarter tier rewards

I'm very excited about Wasteland 2 but I need more information (will it be top down or isometric for example) before I decide how much money I'll invest. Apart from the pre-order exclusive skill the proposed tiers look very promising. I'm curious how they are going to handle naming npc's...

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Yes I have, why? Serious Sam, Painkiller and Hard Reset were pretty good but still far from Doom, Quake, Sin, etc.

    InXile reveals Kickstarter tier rewards

I hope they reconsider this. IMO every paying customer should get the complete version of the game. Superficial content like the statue is pretty cool but cutting content is not the way to go.

    Doom 4 anyone?!

You played the roll of a marine and you killed hellspawn, that's where the similarities ended IMO. I'm not going to list the differences between 90's FPS and modern popamole FPS because that has been done to death. I think it's suffice to say there are many gamers longing for a decent FPS...

    Doom 4 anyone?!

Nice product placement, I'm Lovin' It. These leaked images only reveal that id is using id tech5 (not really a surprise) and that they are going to use the "hell on earth" setting which reminds me a lot of Half-Life 2 for some reason. I need to see enemies, weapons and gameplay mechanics...

    Assassins Creed III set in...

His outfit makes even less sense now. Compared to AC2's impressive renaissance cities and their famous landmarks exploring forests, plains and small settlements doesn't seem all that appealing to me. Exploring these cities was AC2's main draw for me, I couldn't care less about the retarded...
