Seems like they decided early to not use the Onyx engine, I assumed all that extra money to get to 2.1 million was getting them more than just Chris Avellone's help. Maybe they will stick with UE3 since they know it.

There was one point in Arkham Asylum where your screen freezes, the graphics screw up and you hear a buzzing noise. It was supposed to make you think your hardware was failing.

Stalker was still a good game in the end, the atmosphere made up for any shortcomings. This game just looks terrible in every way, and unlike the Stalker series I doubt there will be a modding community to improve it.

I'm using: The ATI .dll fix Immersive Karma - no more annoying sounds or popups when you steal things Night and Day - time pass more slowly, adds weather effects and darker nights, but not unrealistically dark like Fellout. Better Forested area around Jacobstown Realistic Death...

Now that the saves have been fixed the only major bug I've encountered was with the Wheel of Fortune quest, where a guy I had to talk to wouldn't say anything. I still notice minor bugs like NPCs walking in the air, monsters stuck in objects and gaps in the landscape.

I hope this patch fixes the quicksaves. -edit- it doesn't.

If funny glitches like that were the only problem I wouldn't care, but there are far worse. People on the Bethesda forums have been complaining about these two in particular: -In the PC version there is a bug that has been deleting people's saves. Quicksave, hard save, auto save, doesn't...

Looks and sounds much better than Fallout 3. And is it just me or is the damage super low, I saw him blast a random traveler twice point blank in the head with a shotgun and it didn't kill him.
