    New animations 2

Depends on the game. I play realistic Submarine simulators and i enjoy games that handle ballistics and bullet damage well, but that fits into the games. Just Cause 2 for example, was not in the slightest realistic. That's because it was a game designed to be fun from doing Stupid and...

    Scenery stuff and such...

Like i said - Game Balance and Practically =/= Realism. If there was a point to having it, i'd be all for shit like that, as long as its in context. There is a difference between a car using a plastic bags as tires (Read, there is no context or point to it within Fallout's universe.) and...

    Scenery stuff and such...

That's not true. I can see many reasons for a dilapidated shell for a car in the FO games. Working Engine and they throw together a chassis to mount it? In all likelyhood they threw it together with shit they find lying around, as well as fixing it with said shit, so its hardly going to be...

Blue Velvet – Fallout 1 into Fallout 2

I think the contrast is very effective when there's blue and brown. Its like an exaggerated art style. With that said, i just don't think it fits caves with stuff in them =(

    Alpha Protocol

You know, this forum has changed the way i see game reviews. Now whenever i see a good review i wonder how much the developer/Publisher sucked them off (Or Vise versa).

    Alpha Protocol

Oh i agree, but i have zero faith in game reviews nowdays. Everyone is to busy sucking the publisher/Dev off to actually be honest. Only Yahtzee is honest, but at the same time i think he's too harsh, purely because of his character. From what i've seen of the game, it looks fairly fun, so...

    Alpha Protocol

I'll probably pick it up because i think Obsidian deserves some support given the market dominance from COD and various other flavors of shit. I've watched the trailers and they've really tried to sell the multiple choices to different resolutions, which i figure deserves my support. Plus i...

Favorite Faction and what you would do if you were a member

I'd probably become a NCR ranger if i was in the universe. I like what they stand for. I just wish they were a bit more fleshed out.

    Question about the Megaton Bomb?

Brotherhood of steel with a interest in the thermonuclear weapon, with power armor suits and heavy weaponry vs the church of atom. Fairly sure they don't get a say in it. Admittedly, this isn't the proper BOS but if retrieving a functional superweapon isn't high on their priority list i'd...

Its a long shot, but try running it as an administrator and make sure the .ini files aren't read only.

    Question about the Megaton Bomb?

They don't use 238 or 244 in Nuclear weapons. 239 and 241 are used. With that said, while 241 would have decayed, 239 wouldn't have. Irrespective of that though, i seriously doubt the bomb would be in any condition to achieve a nuclear detonation after such a period exposed in the elements. The...

    Alien Speculation in NV

You lack vision Lexx! Why do that when we could PLAY as one. Start with alien death rays! That way we don't have to bother with that moronic, monotonous "Survival" and "Harsh reality" crap you have to deal with otherwise in the fallout games.

    First XCOM screens

Especially in a game universe where Telekinesis is a relatively easy skill to maser.

    Game Informer goes to 11

I think he meant in the scenario you butcher a NCR Patrol or whatever and they're hostile.

I rathered freezing the ground in front of a ledge near a door then hiding around the corner.

Fallout 2 mod Fallout 2: Weapons Redone v2.3

Personally i'd like to keep it how is (I think it works like this anyway). Hollow points mushroom and cause increased trauma inside the target but as a side effect can't penetrate armor as well as armor piercing bullets which do less damage, but are far more effective against armored targets.

    First XCOM screens

Personally i think its fairly fun. Very low re-playability, but a lot of fun for one run.

    Half-life and Halo

Eh? Personally i always thought Halo was pretty much to the point on the type of game it is. Oh come on. Your seriously not faulting them for that are you? Its a passing remark. Your a scientist at a R & D Facility. What do you want to do, whip out a test tube and create a new acid or...
