There just seems to be no real sense of danger in a lot of games, especially action/adventure games, and even RPGs. I hate the feeling of playing an interactive movie. On the other hand, I'm a grown up now (yaaaay :roll: ) so, I guess I don't mind not having to get frustrated and stressed...

When you would go insane with frustration after wandering around aimlessly wondering what the hell to do next? Before online FAQs, or blatant map pointers in the game that tell you EXACTLY WHERE TO GO, you just kept playing until you figured it out. Is this an improvement in time economy...

I wasn't thinking about the ending as much as the overall vision of society. And the fact the kid is born into that kind of life, well depressing might be too strong a word but I had a memorable emotional response to it.
