wasteland lore

So after owning Wasteland 2 DC for almost a decade I finally gave it a proper shot. I was travelling east of Canyon of Titan when I found this darling. It reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it.:smugoticon:

Could they possibly fit the same setting, despite being from differing developers? I'm not asking if they are, because obviously not, but from a nerd who likes the idea... would they fit nicely or is there a lot of overlap or areas that don't fit one another? I ask because the PnP game in out...
