I liked the original Max Payne, not because of the story (though it was interesting), but for the HUGE mod community. I literally had over twenty different modifications for Max Payne, before my computer was wiped. The Kung Fu mod was one of my favorites.
 
There are two diffirent endings. Play thru Hard Boiled and Dead on Arrival for the real ending.

P.S. is it just the ending that's different or are their different levels? I only ask cause i was planning on skipping the storyboards unless theirs something i should be paying attension to...???

The second one is the real one. Notice how in the first he kisses a corpse, while in hte beggining on all difficulties he is obviously kissing a living person.
 
ok, i just finished on DOA mode and theres only one slide at the end that's different. That's kind of a rip. you should get to play a whole different level or something.
 
Too short definitely, and the original ending was better. "There Are No Happy Endings". Yeah, right...

Try to support the game by buying them instead!
 
great game, but short... Oh well... I think there will be more mods for it than for the first part, because of the easier modding and the Havok engine...

btw. Half-life 2 looks good too... but it won't be out for ages... so MP2 won this round...
 
Playing 'Max Payne' was like making love to a reeealy beautiful woman... sure, you finished rather fast, but it was worth it :lol:
