These photos were taken at Ground Zero, the World Trade Center site in New York, on September 13, 2001.

They were taken by someone named "Ed" who was allowed into the area by a member of the emergency response crew, at a time when all civilians -- including most journalists -- were forbidden to enter the area. As a result, these photos are just about the only close-ups ever taken of the World Trade Center site so soon after the 9/11 attacks.

Kinda old I guess, but still. Some of them look pretty Fallouty, in a way. Like this one:

This is depressing. I lost 3 friends in that. I stayed in the Marriott WTC when I was in NY for 3 months on business.

I have to admit, when I first started skimming your post, I was afraid it was going to be another one of those "ZOMG government CONSPIRACCYYYYYY!!! Look, never before seen photos!"

However, it's not. And as is, those are some really impressive photos. Certainly show the devastation well. Thanks for pointing it out.

Interesting, I have several hundred similar photographs on a CD that my uncle sent me. He works for FEMA, establishing immediate communication and power lines for emergency teams, and was quickly on-site. Though his photographs, at least those that have the date noted, are from 9/15 onwards.

strange how far a few gems of condenced hatred can go if they set their minds to it.

as for the site itself, shit, must be pretty impressive to have seen it after 9/11.

even this long after seeing that runs a chill down my spine, I still clearly remember watching them fall on one of the several live broadcasts. It still feels as surreal now as it did then.

I've said it once, I'll say it again.

Osama Bid Laden is a prick who deserves to burn in hell, then they should rebuild him and burn him again, just for the fun of it.

For those looking for carnage- check out the pictures on National Geographic-

The Lower Ninth Ward looks like shit but the French Quarter looks pretty good.

Pictures in the magazine almost look like children's diaorama's of carnage.

That's a really awesome photograph right there - in it's own, horrible way of course.

I also stayed at the Marriott WTC in early 2001, but only for two days. My father stayed there regularly once or twice a month, along with all other SAS pilots.

I went up the twin towers in late june/early july 2001. Heh. I guess most of the people I saw working there, including the teen I bought coke from are dead now.

Pretty wow to be one of the last to stand up there, at the top floor looking down over NYC.

Are we saying we all believe in the world wide cabal propaganda? Just curious for the record. Fallout is no joke, i've got a feeling it was a premonition from the collective unconscious.

Not really. If I remember correctly, some 50,000 people worked in the World Trade Center. Less than 3,000 died on September 11th.

And all the big bosses sold their stocks the day before. It's not a conspiracy. IT'S PURE BULLSHIT. Bin Laden has nothing 2 do with it. Just Bush and his IQ of 12.

I wouldn't let Bush get away that easy. How could he manipulate his way into the presidency if he was an absolute fucking moron? Skull & Bones lets any 'idiot' from Harvard & Yale join? I believe Bush is very intelligent. Just not morally intelligent, like the majority of federal government, in my opinion.

Those people were all on the top floor though. And 9/11 only seems to have done good things for Bush and his buddies.

Katario, there's a text in the net, pretty professional, and not some childish conspiracy shit, making a summary of ALL the weird things about the 9-11 stuff. I think when u google around a little bit u'll probably find it.

That's not 'citing your sources'. It's saying, go find it yourself.
A random text that has proper grammar and spelling is not believable, by the way. Spelling does not grant validity.
