There's no source for that because it didn't happen, but a bunch of executives did get tons of options after 9/11 when stocks were extremely low (I read an article in WSJ about it last week, I don't have the online edition though) , and just prior to 9/11 there were a large amount of 'put' options on UAL and American. A put option is a bet that a stock will fall, and most conspiracy theorists point to this as evidence that people knew that 9/11 was imminent. But hedge funds and even large mutual funds do that all the time to insure themselves in case a stock they buy into tanks. What people fail to mention is that there was a similarly large purchase of airline stocks that required some insurance in the form of put options. source for all that.

Deepest apologies for derailing (I almost said hijacking ) the thread, but I wanted to clear up the misinformation before it reached Loose-Change levels of ridiculousness.

Seeing these pics makes my blood run cold, even though I live out here with the kangaroos and crocodiles. I remember that morning when the planes hit the towers and it was just a chilling memory.

I did, however, enjoy seeing these photos. Not because I'm a sick bastard and enjoy seeing thousands of people killed, it just bought back memories of it.

I guess I enjoy these pics at the sheer amazement that TWO AEROPLANES hit two massive buildings, causing both to collapse, it's a massive scale thing.

Seriously though, what does it matter what conspiracies people have conjured up, when 2 FUCKING AEROPLANES hit the towers. The last time I heard, I thought aeroplanes that travelled a few hundred kilometres per hour made buildings collapse, but, y'know, thats just me
