10mm revolver/pistol

I really, really hope you're just referring to the 9mm revolvers not being "successful" and not .357 or .38. People in Europe, oddly enough, use 9mm revolvers frequently from what I know because that's, just sort of, the regional standard. Not everyone has to have a Glock with an 18 round magazine just to fire 9mm Parabellum.

Now, I ask you again, why not? - Colt

I thought the problem with a 10mm pistol in fallout beeing a revolver was that it has 12 rounds...?

There are also mechanical issues. Plus it has a magazine... So how many bullets does the magazine have, and how many the cyclinder? See what I mean?

Fine, shoot pistol ammo from a revolver and vice versa. And don't come crying to me when you end up in hell! In hell I tell you!

Anyways, I've been wondering about that revolver which fires various ammo.
There's one revolver that fires everything from 9mm Parabellum to .357 Magnum.
Can you tell me more about it, Colt? Pics?

A revolver is technically a pistol.

It's called the Medusa. Link to a Popular Mechanics article here and more pictures with information here

Annoyingly enough, it uses the exact concept I thought of a few years ago for being able to fire .45 ACP in a revolver chamebred for .45 Colt. Theirs, obviously, can use many more cartridges however. Either way, it would be a very valuable piece of equipment in the post-apocalyptic world when you can come across multiple kinds of ammunition and fire them. I would be worried about the central springs wearing out though. - Colt
