Just randomly decided to take a look at it after a good 4 months of not caring. All of the trailers/pictures I've seen so far are about as unimpressive to me as F3 was, but the more I read on the subject the better it seems to be.

Out of curiosity, are there any other places/regions/cities announced to be featured in the game other then Vegas and desert?

Bases for the NCR and Ceaser's Legion. There's also Helios One, the solar plant, and the Hoover Dam. Goodsprings is the town you start off in, and I'm sure other towns have actually been named and mentioned or atleast their concept mentioned but I"m not sure off the top of my head.

Myself, I wasn't paying attention until E3. Then I just went SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I am not suggesting story spoilers but I would like to see some screenshots or movie footage of the places they have only been talking about so far.

Not more stuff about the casinos or attacking a Caesar's Legion camp.

Anyway, it's sort of E3, but for comic book-related things. Obsidian's gonna be there to advertise their comic book and talk about writing in video games on the 23rd and 24th.

There'll also be a playable version of New Vegas at QuakeCon on August 12th. Bethesda is also dropping hints they'll announce something there.

Comic-con isn't like E3 for comics. It's a huge fucking convention, whereas E3 is an expo, and more/entirely industry oriented, whereas Comic-con is more about the fans and shit. And loosing faith in humanity. You need permission to get into E3. you need to be press or industry. You need a ticket to get into Comic-Con. It started for comics, but all kinds of nerdy/geeky type shit occupies it now.

I want to go to Quakecon 2010... I'll be in summer school though and TX is a long ways from Seattle. I went in 2004 and it was fun.
