That reminds me, definitely get NFS: Most Wanted. It's not a racing sim but it's crazy fun. You get the most insane 200mph police chases ever. It's actually my second favorite NFS game.

I thought you were asking for three hundred and sixty games recommended to you. I was looking forward to such a list. :(

The only good racing games are all pc only titles (well except for Richard Burns Rally, which is for the older consoles such as ps2 anyway)

Really?

There hasn't been a good PC racing game in years, while Gran Turismo and Forza have provided race sim fans with spectacular games.

Sim fans? Those are hardly sims when you compare them to games like GTR2, GT Legends, RFactor, Live For Speed, GTR Evolution, the magnificent mod for GTR2 - Power & Glory, Richard Burns Rally..... And i have played Gran Turismo, so i have sufficiant knowledge to make this comparison. Console racers might have an advantage graphically wise, but that's all, physics, accuracy and feedback wise they get destroyed by real sims....

You like racing games, your opinion is no longer valid in my eyes.

Judging by this sentence your eyes seem to suck. My sympathies dude. No, liking racing games does not make my opinion on other games any less valid.

And AskWazzup : you seem to forget that racing game does not have to be a sim to be a good game. It's fine if you only like sims, however that's only your taste, nothing more.

Yeah, a good game, not a good racing game.

I'd say Midnight Club: LA beats pretty much any NFS, but as someone else said Most Wanted is the one to get if you're in the market for a NFS.

Also, Ace Combat 6 is great. The kind of completely unrealistic combat that somehow feels perfectly plausible that only Japanese games can give you.

And try the Mirrors Edge demo, the game is pretty much the same all the way trough but if you like the demo like I did you'll like the game.

I second Darkness. It's an excellent game in so many ways. Those WWI sequences were pure art.

Yes, Ace Combat 6 is unrealistic in a very fun way. I always liked the series for that very reason.

BTW, how did you like Fable 2? I haven't played the second one yet.

I can second that, Most Wanted is the last NFS game I was able to enjoy.
Also Mirror's Edge, forgot about that one. Really good game if you are up for some "trial and error" gameplay. Although I can't imagine how it would control on the gamepad.
