Or has anyone possibly made some kind of soundtrack? :)

Somehow I've always felt that this song would work perfectly for a new Fallout game.

I think that that type of filming should be the type of graphics used in FO3!1

Anyway, why could you imagine that song being perfect? I can see it working, but where would it be implemented? Ambient in game music? What about when you are making love to a man?

Falloutish music is not only 50th style but also darkwave sometime, i suggest here Bad Sector
Not all are exacly the same, but some from them could fit to game.

You might want to check out this one:

It´s not strictly 50s, some 60s era songs as well, but nevertheless.
My wife bought that for me my last birthday. It´s a huge box, 4 CD´s, 1 DVD and a nearly 300 page strong book (30 x 30 cm) containing the lyrics, comments on the songs and tons of civil defense art. You´ll spend some time going through all the material, I found that package pretty impressive.

This isn't Fifties music but it fits the fallout style, or so I think.
Randy Newman: Political Science
Seems very Fallout oriented.

Even though he isn't a "Big Star" Randy Newman still kicks ass!
He is one of those guys who can make any song kick ass. :lalala:

I don't have any music links for you but I've recently came across an interesting book related to the topic. Ever wondered about the political role of artists like Louis Armstrong and 50s jazz music as a propaganda weapon during the cold war?

Check out Satchmo Blows Up the World

Something else, i found site where is soundtracks from Mad Max trilogy. I cant post link, but search trough google under "los soundtracks". It seem like only part2 can be download, but its best part anyway, very classic.
