Nah, I think they are scape goating the FBI but the FBI isn't taking it lieing down. THey are making Clark out to be a opportunist trying to sell a book. Maybe he is, but I don't doubt what he's selling.

Worse- they are going to use this to make yet another intelligence gathering agency in which spying on Americans becomes the accepted norm. THe FBI did that in the 60s and 70s but Vietnam was unpopular and the FBI had to roll back.

Remember, Clinton proved that Americans don't have long attention spans. Probably too much T.V.

How many kids do you know suffer Attention Deficit Disorder?

and the outcome- Can you say "police state"?

And if it's a police state, who does it serve? Remember most of Bush's supporters come from the top 1% of the income bracket, and many from the top 1/10th of that 1%.

Actually it will all blow over and become old news. That is, unless Iraq gets worse.
