i just had a half bad idea. when you experience critical failures durring combat with a gun and it becomes damaged, you could fix it much like the cure screen on MGS3 snake eater. or at least a weapon viewer where you could rotate any weapon in 3d.(like on resident evil series)

oh wait, after seeing the words on screen, it sounds like crap
