Yes, so.

How come some mutants are (apparently) geniuses (i.e. The Lou) and others are utter idiots (i.e. The Watershed Crew). Does it have to do with pre-dipping intelligence, or just pure chance?

Next time on the General Discussion Board: Why the %^&$ do mutants have those rubber bands around their head that pull up their upper lip? Or am I just trippin' again...

Simply put, some genetic stock is just less predisposed to mutation, especially subjects w/high rad counts (as you know.) The FEV is supposed to increase brain function, but the records and texts are very vague about this. I suppose that the FEV's tendency to highten brain activity, along with the transmutation of the subject from a double-helix to a quad-helix dna structure, changes the nature of the brain/mind. Either that, or the fact that some minds just aren't strong enough to stand up to the intense strain produced from the virus's work on their body. After all, people have gone stark raving mad over less...

Yes and if you read Richard Grey"s audio log in the MB in F1 he states that up untill a point he could only create dumb mutants and at one point he created somebody that had the same ideas of unity as he had (or some such). The rad count on this person was low so that might be the reason why some are dumb and others are not. The total rad count they had before being dipped.

I read somewhere in F1 that supermutants get their brain capasity redused by 40% when they get dipped.
Mmmm.... yep it was that disk u get from that blody scientist women.

The Lou

I'm pretty sure the Lou only seemed smart because he had a British accent.
