I don't want to labour the point, but i do have a question for you guys.

Did anyone, with the obvious exception of Miroslav, bother to even look at the Pen and paper RPG i designed for Fallout?

I don't mind if you thought it was shit, but i do find it a bit off that this community we all subscribe to couldn't even have the courtesy to give it a once over and let me know. I put a fair amount of work into it and posted it up for you people to use.

Anyhow, that's all, i shan't drag the subject up again.

I've seen many more posts about a fallout PNP RPG, and it seems like people just aren't interested in it. I personally haven't looked it over and I don't know if I will cause I don't have much time right now. All I can say is don't give up. You might find some enthusiasts later on...

You "find it a bit off that this community we all subscribe to couldn't even have the courtesy to give it a once over and let you know"?

Ok, don't start disrespecting everybody here just because we didn't look at your RPG.

Yes, you may have put "a fair amount of work into it and posted it up for us to use"... but we didn't ASK for it. You did this on your OWN time, buddy. So don't get mad at us if it wasn't a hit.

My aren't we all aggressive? ease off on the E numbers and consider:

I never claimed that anyone asked, I'm just surprised that, given how everyone so much wants to play Fallout, that absolutely no one has any interest in any version of the game that involves some work as opposed to passively accepting what you're given every couple of years. I thought CRPG'ers were first and foremost RPG'ers, it would appear that I was very mistaken.

I'm not in a snit because it wasn't a hit, so don't twist my words "Buddy". Whether it was used or not is irrelevant; I designed the system primarily for my own use and wanted to share it. I was making a point that we all subscribe to a community and that, at the very least, I thought someone would have given it a cursory once over, even just to say it wasn't much good.

Thank you for your response, but next time, don't start attacking points that weren't there in the first place, and don't call me buddy, you wouldn't do it to my face, so I don't appreciate it here.

No offense, but it looks in the first post that you are trying to get attention, and woe be the first person who says anything contrary to what you are looking for, as proven in your second post in this thread.

(Edit Note):

Also, I know how it is to be constantly busy about things, and I don't email or bother people needlessly. Many people share that view, especially if they are busy as hell themselves. People might have looked at it, but not wanted to bother you with seemingly inane emails.

You're perfectly entitled to your opinion. I'm just responding to what I see as an unnecesariliy aggresive response. As for getting attention, that wasn't my intent further than making the point I wanted to make.

As for what I'm looking for, I'm not sure what you mean, but fair point regarding people being busy. I'm not trying to start a debate, I just took exception to the 2nd reply's tone.

The End.

Actually, re-read your original post. It DOES look like you were accusing everyone for not giving you all the feedback and praise you wanted.

That's my two caps.

Don't call you buddy because I wouldn't do it to your face? You don't know me. I WOULD do it to your face, because yes, I'm an honest bitch. ;)

"I was making a point that we all subscribe to a community and that, at the very least, I thought someone would have given it a cursory once over, even just to say it wasn't much good."

Again, there you go disrespecting us because we didn't look at your RPG. Just because we all subscribe to a community, doesn't mean that we are entitled to look at your work.

To Roshambo: Fair point, I don't see it myself but if it appears that way then I can only restate that it wasn't my intention.

Kat, sorry, i'm not even getting where you're coming from. How you can read disrespect into what I said is beyond me. As for being entitled to look at my work, of course you're entitled to look at it, and criticise it, or hate it or whatever you like. Do you mean obligated, as opposed to entitiled? (and for god's sake, don't take that as a crack at your language skills)

I'm not after praise, I posted the thing to give afficiandos of Fallout a chance to cast a fresh set of eyes over it and offer suggestions to make it better. That's why i posted it to a fallout fan site in the first place, because I thought someone would want to run a game instead of just waiting to be spoon fed another (superb) PCRPG. I just didn't appreciate how little interest there is in paper and pencil RPGing. My mistake, sorry for the offence caused.

Mmf. I did mean obligated, and I realized I'd used the wrong word after I posted it. I hoped you guys wouldn't notice. :P
