A Single Bethesdaverse?

I really wonder how you could even write this...thing while not being drunk. Seems like the kind of thing I could've put during Christmas eve.

But, seriously, how can people actually believe this? Even Bethesda wouldn't do this...at least, I hope so.

Maybe they'd actually announce the shared Bethesdaverse on April 1st, and some of the drunk or sleepy among this forum might actually take it seriously. It will be hilarious to watch.

I wasn't drunk, but I was very tired. By law, I'm not allowed to be drunk, but that didn't stop me from writing this.

I'd find this difficult to go for if it hadn't been done before. Who's played the Might and Magic series?

What happened?

Sorry I missed this.

In M&M, the worlds are either habitats on a space ship or planets seeded by spacefarers. Most of the inhabitants of each biosphere are unaware of this and live life in a magical fantasy medieval setting. Go to the right places and talk to the right people, however, and the PC's discover that the world was made long ago on a technological foundation that has been forgotten. I don't recall an explanation for the magic in the setting, but magic was separate and distinct from technology. Once the PC party got to higher levels, they'd start finding bits of technology. The characters could then pick up some ranks in the laser rifle skill or whatever it was. They were pretty good games, but I only ever finished M&M VI.

Reminds me of the first Ultima game. Apparently, Sosaria's blacksmiths had a thriving space shuttle industry and the kingdoms were at war with the Galactic Empire from Star Wars.
