Lately, everyone that i have talked to that is making a Fallout RPG has only one thing in common. That is that they are making there own RPG.

I figure that since we have many bright minds out there that want to so somthing, why don't we start one as a group. That way if one part of the rules does not make sense or we don't want to work on it, it can be passed to another person who has an idea on it. We also will have it done much quicker and have a game truer to the orignal. Since many of us have at least part of the game created, they will have somthing to contribue from the start.

Please, we all love this game and it is starting to die. We must do somthing quickly, or we may lose it forever.

Do what i do

I finish the game following the story then play again we my own story that i made up. i do this with almost all games i own when the story loses it spark.

There is much more to it

by following the preset storyline of other games has one main downside, you know what will happen. by starting a game with only the rules preset, you have much more areas to cover and many other things you can do. for instance, who says that a fallout RPG has to start in the mountians? we could start on the east coast. there's plenty of bomb shelers in D.C. and they will sure try and nuke there. this idea breaks the normal story lines and gives a whole new area to cover.

RE: There is much more to it

While reading Kilus' message I got the distinct impression that he had no idea you were talking about a pen and paper version of the fallout game. By the way, there was a message a few weeks ago on this board by Fusion of the order. He has completed the rules for the fallout P&P RPG and posted a link to his website. You should check the achives of this board.

Or better yet (since I just saw there board is full of spam) mail fusion himself. His email is in the userprofiles of this board and I suppose you could find it on the order page as well.
