A wishful Throwback

Not sure I'd like to see anything specific back from older games, but I sure would love to have more in-game information about what happens with the various locations of the Core Region. To get the feeling that the whole world is "living", not just the location where my character stands...

Sorry fellas, I already looted the Glow completely. Might be good for some scrap metal though.

I just want a beautiful 2d isometric game again. For actual items/enemies/weapons etc I don't care, I want them to show me new stuff, not rehashing everything again and again.

I want a DLC for each region, use the current game mechanics and visit all the places we've grown to love... And maybe see how much they've changed.

It'd be interesting to go to the NCR homeland as a legion supporter.

I loved the Dr Zero saying.

"Was it holotapes or holodisks? Never could quite remember."

But yeah, if I could suggest something to come back? I don't know.

It's weird I think. Like Vault City is my most prominent example, but that and a lot of the other old stuff just seems to exist in a world of it's own, apart as it were.

I don't know, I could imagine the Poseidon Oil Rig in 3D but the idea of Vault City being relevant in a new game, being in 3D always just struck me as weird in a way I can't really describe.

All old locations should never be touched by new games. It just won't work. They will look way too different and therefore most people will think it's shit (it would be shit). I can't really understand the urge to go back to these in 3d anyway. Would it alter the experience in a good way? Doubtful. You would only deal with too high expectations.

It could work. It's just that certain people would never, ever accept any version that was put out because it'll never meet their standards of what it should be, as it's been building in their minds for the past decade or two.

Or O like give her my Oh face! Oh! Oh!

Revisiting old locations would not be too bad if they actually looked like the old locations, and not some bastardized version put forth by bethesda.

Lexx is right, unless Lexx makes them, they'll never meet our expectations. Let me stop you right there, that is not sarcasm, if anyone could do it faithfully, my bet is on Lexx.

Why does everyone have to include mods. Is it possible to want something without just saying"well there are mods for it" there is a difference how a player feels how strong they should be is different then the game makers.
