It Wandered In From the Wastes
How the heck do you get this thing to work (the acm2wav util)? I've tried everything I could think of to get it to do something, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any help, please?

If I remember correctly, you do just drag the acm onto the convertor program, and then it should spit it out into some directory. I remember I could never find the directory myself, though. Just try searching for the file. The wav file should just be the same name as the acm, just with a .wav instead of a .acm.

Thanks, King. I didn't think to search for it -- I assumed it wasn't doing anything.

For future reference, Here's where it puts them:

Using XP it puts them in "<XP drive letter>:\Documents and settings\<your Windows identity>"

Using Win98, it puts them in the root directory that Win98 is in.

(By the way, i've got a duel boot. That's how I found out where it put these things; since I didn't think the program was working, I thought it was because I was using XP, so I tried with 98 too.)

Well, after clickin on the link above, it was dead, so, after much browsing, (& yes, translating lol), we have an updated libk to the files. You'll surely have to translate, but scrolling about halfway down, you can find it just with your eyes (power arms, cool face, thumbs up emojies!)
