If only I was a good enough gamer to keep my manual over 9 years. However, thank you. Damn shame... Fast Shot is so handy.
 
There is a pdf of the Manual on the CD.

In fact, that's the only way I got a manual, since I purchased the dual-jewel case version.

In any event, NOT having the manual is no excuse for not reading it, seeing as how we live in the internet age. I googled "Fallout 2 manual", and the first hit came up with, get this, a link to the manual on DAC.

I'm certain a small amount of further research here, at NMA, would probably also unveil the manual to you.

How to aim?

Hello!
I've been reading this forum for a couple of days and i see that everybody aims for the eye :shock:
How do you aim? Do i need a perk or some skill?
When i finished the game i used the gaus rifle and the bozar(8 years ago) but i don't remember aiming...
Ho do i aim?

Dude, answering a question with another question that is not related to the first question is not clever, is DUMB!

Anyway, you have to use fuelcells
 
how do i shot web?

you click the little round field on your action bar, pew pew targetted shot. otoh, if you are fast-shot-traited, you wont be able to target shot.
 
It would have been easier on everybody if you have searched the forum for "aimed shots".

Aimed shot gone?!(Fallout 2)

Help, I install the children patch in Fallout 2 and now the aimed shot is gone (I also don't see any children put **** that now)! I don't know exactly if it was the children patch since I also installed the patch in Fallout 1 and nothing happend (which mean also no children), I deleted the files but it still didn't solved it and I'm sure it's not the game because I had the aimed shots before I installed the patch.

Just to check off the most obvious.
Make sure you didn't pick the fast shot trait and also make sure you are not suffering from a broken arm.
 
S***, that's what they ment by not aiming! I tought it was decreased accuracy or some crap like that, God I'm such a total idiot. Thanks anyway.
 
Targeting screen

Shame on me. But until recently i wasn't aware of the ability to target specific body parts in the original fallouts. How does this work?
 
Well, you need to NOT have picked the fast shot trait.

First, equip you weapon.
Right click on the icon to change weapon modes.
These modes include regular shot, targeted shot, and other (burst).
Targeted shots will display a target on the corner of the icon.
When you have a targeted shot selected, the next time you click an enemy, the targeting screen will pop up, and you can choose you body part.
