Ammo in Fallout3

Of course, it should be noted that the Fallout Bible was done by Avellone, who is no longer with BIS, so it's no guarantee for anything.

I'm still not convinced by J.E.'s ammo argument, but I see no meaning in pursuing the issue further.

Wanamingos are most certainly NOT aliens. They are just another FEV mutation. The fact that they lay eggs suggest they probably evolved from some sort of a reptile, just like deathclaws, geckos and whatnot. I don't see how they could possibly be a biological weapon. What kind of an army uses a big sack of flash with two tentacles as bio weapons? IMHO, they are stupid and a completely unnecessary addition to the Fallout world. Hopefully they will be gone in Fallout 3.

Try saying that to the Corporation. The possibilities of Xenomorphs are unlimited it seems.

See what happens when you call something an "Alien" in a random encounter?

I liked Wannamingo's personally. Not as Aliens, but as some unexplained mutant creature that came from *somewhere*, hiding in the depths of old mines, breeding. Some kind of concoction of radiation and perhaps chemicals dumped in a disused mine.

I also like how they go splat.

Well, whatever they are, they were likely mutated from some type of burrowing creature. They don't seem to enjoy light at all, since they spend all of their time in the mine. Plus, I don't think I've ever encountered desert Wannamingos during the daylight.
