Another Fo:BoS review!

Dan

Where'd That 6th Toe Come From?
Jumping jimmies! Yet another Fo:BoS review.
Unfortunately this is from the moronic brand of reviews, but I'll let you judge for yourself:
Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel is an old RPG, which was first released on the PC in the 90’s. It was also set in the uninspiring sci-fi universe of the classic 50’s films. Now being brought into the 21st century of gaming and on the consoles, this older series is getting a total makeover.
There's some more random shit on that review, so if you like that kind of stuff head on over to that site.

Spotted over at RPGDot.

I'm getting tired of reading crappy half-assed reviews and previews of this shitty game. Picking out blatant errors in the articles has become second nature. Speaking of nature, I'm becoming very cynical towards these idiots. This game is causing me emotional grief. Maybe I should sue Interplay.

Hey, it's a preview. Don't get your panties in a wad just yet. :)

That's not to say the previewer couldn't use some "education". He's not very up to speed either - it even claims the third character is still a MISTAREE. Clearly it's just a regurgitation of shit the guy ingested on the FOBOS website.

"uninspiring sci-fi universe of the classic 50’s films."

...I am... I am just speechless. What kind of IPLYs a*s licking, pi*s drooling idiot could write such piece of mental crap?

ok, I am not speechless

Dude just swear, its okay, no corporate cuss policies here...

FUCK SHIT ASS CUNT COCK FUCKSTICK DILDO CUMGUZZLING CRACKHWHORE etc etc

see?

...I mean - kiss, felch, hug and love IPLYs ass as you will - we are used to it, but what should mean this crack whores babling about uninspiring Fallout world of the fifties? It inspired me to three short stories and this is just a raindrop in the ocean of Fallout inspired tales, MODs, games, art... I take it as a personal offence Mr Aftershock

rhetorical question: if stupid people, although abundant, are only so many, how come their stupidity is endless?
Holy Brahmin! Do these reviewers even know how Fallout looks like, did they even try to play it for at least a day, before writing down all that crap?
I'm beginning to think that somewhere on this earth there is a huge plant which is mass producing these morons and then lets them loose to wander the earth...
And can't they take hint? Or do they enjoy making huge fools out of themselves?
"In conclusion, FBOS looks to showcases many options to gamers and a superb overall structure. Offering over 50 weapons in all, as well as 50 missions, a very promising cooperative side, and some strategical elements too. Therefore, including a balance of various options and worthwhile experiences. With a strong emphasis on pure action, Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel should have us entertained for hours on end when it is released next week.
"
How can this guy applaud this abomination? All that "thing" accomplished was to ruin a superb game concept ... and call it entertaining
I say this should be settled the wasteland way: We lynch them, quick and leave their bones bleaching in the desert... [/quote]

The funny thing is, they're down to a little over 30 weapons in the game - not 50.

Like Slamak said, this is a preview and looks to be based on really, really old information.

It's not hard to see why.

Editor: "Do I HAVE to do that damn review?"
Chief Editor: "Yes, you've been putting it off long enough. We either have to say something or get noticed for not having a complete listing for it."
Editor: "Oh, fuck you!" Goes to do some quick write-ups from various other articles and interviews.
