Sonny, I Watched the Vault Bein' Built!
I'm trying to install quick time on a computer thats running Vista, and i get this odd message saying "Another Instillation is in progress" and its piss me off. I read through some threads but have yet to reach a solution. yes, i tired restarting the computer and no i do not care if you think QuickTime is shit, I just want my ipod to work. Pleas help.

No, its actually spelled like this: Go fuck yourself if you can not contribute anything useful!

I think the problem might be with the computer thinking there are two installations going on at once.

The only reason I'm installing Quicktime is because iTunes is telling me to.

if you don't want to buy music from iTunes, you can also use alternative software to load your iPod with music. (without the adware that is iFumes)

I'm willing to try, but its not my computer so I have to be careful as to what I install. Do you know any good ones?

My brother uses something called Rockbox. It's an alternative operating system for ipods. I haven't got around to using it, but it looked pretty cool. You think you can just put any old mp3 file on your ipod with it.
