Any good dialogue in Fallout 3?

Bethesda writing everyone. Three different ways of saying one message!

And that is a bad thing? You know how many ways i could tell you to fuck off?

Well it is a bad thing when this method replaces genuinely different dialogue. I mean, most of these in Beth and Bioware games lead to the same response from the npc, so there's very little merrit to them.

But that is a good example of choice and cosequences. If you pick the first answer you get +5 Karma cause you are polite and nice. The second is for neutral characters and the third one lowers karma by 5 because you are evil and mean to a little kid!

No action of the player goes unjudged! Even the most stupid of choices reflects on the way people treat you in the game! If you are mean, later on you might have to donate some water to a bugger to avoid negative impact.

This is deep and emotional. Very good example.

Bethesda won't have good dialogue in a game until they stop outsourcing the writing to the nearest kindergarten.

Looks closely, every line is almost identical to another...
So it's lack of choice (it's rpg or fps? After that screen seems like linear fps) and lack of writing.

Also, it perfectly suited to first OP post sentence:

You have 'I accept your quest, but, like the white knight I am, I accept no reward!', 'Sure, but it will cost you, because I am neutral!', or, 'no, please insert a large stick up your lowest bodily orifice, for I am evil!'.

You know, IMO, "Sorry, kid, your old man is ant food." is almost more sympathetic than the "good" option.

I think Bethesda thinks moral variety= three
options (and only three) for EVERYTHING.

There's following formula, then there's Bethsoft.
