Was just on Tamiya America's web site and they've got a awesome
R/C model of a Tiger1 tank in 1/16th scale.They had about 5 movie files there on it and it sounds and looks very realistic.When the main gun is fired it gives a bright strobe flash and the barrel slings back realisticly then slowly moves back out to fire position again.Plus it rocks back a bit to simulate the recoil.And the sounds are just like the real thing as well.They also simulated the hull machine gun with flash and it sounds exactly the same as the ones you hear on the beach scene in "Saving Private Ryan".The engine sounds were recorded from a real King Tiger in a museum in France.
I haven't built a model tank in about 14 years but this one definitly has my attention.I usualy build 1/10th scale electric R/C NASCAR Winston Cup cars but I think a tank will be a nice change.
