Any Pikmin fans?

Does anybody here have Pikmin 1 or 2? They're kinda old RTS games made by Nintendo for the gamecube. I also think they hold the record for most adorable expendable troops in an RTS.

Ah, I remember this game! I used to play Pikmin 2 quite a bit back in the day a few years ago.....Never played the original though...

I actually got kinda bored after all my Pikmin accidentally died ( I left them on the planet overnight by accident when I went into space) and I saved the file which was my only one and couldn't manage to recreate the same army I once had...

There's this Wii game called
Little King's Story that's really good as well. It is very very similar to the Pikmin games but more advanced and complex...

I hear Pikmin 3 is coming on Wii U or 3ds or something....
 
I had Pikmin for the cube, twas the 2nd game I had for it.

Being the RTS nutball that I am, I scarified hordes of Pikmin in the name of the emperor!!!

I have it. I couldn't get into it as good as Pikmin.

I actually played Pikmin 2 first. In fact, I'm replaying it right now.

Anyway. Back in 2004 Nintendo Power was giving stuff away for subscribing. I got a Pikmin 2 shirt. The funny thing is, I looked up "Pikmin shirt" and found some fan made stuff. My shirt was nowhere to be found. I may actually have the only official Pikmin shirt in the us.
 
I played it when it first came out on GCN, and have the remake on Wii.

Good game.

Pikmin 3 is supposed to be in development for Wii U.

Even though I'm a huge Pikmin fan, I never really got around to getting the new play control version. Maybe if they released 2 for the wii in the US I would have gotten it. Are the controls betyer or worse?
 
I just can't get over how we're being given nothing on 3. I keep hoping every E3 that we'll at least get a logo or something. Instead we just get Miyamoto apologising about the lack of info.
 
The white Pikmin looks like a harlequin baby, creepy. I have a gamecube that I think still works, If I manage to Find a palce that sells mroe than 5 gaems around here I might by Pikmin to see how it is, I am not a big RTS player, I like them but I suck terribly, too much micrho management most of the time.

There's really not any micro management to it. If you play the first game, all you have to do is:
*Get 30 ship parts
*Kill enemies
*Sprout more Pikmin by carrying back pellets and dead enemies.

Also, if you pick up 1 first, only red, blue, and yellow are in that one.
