Any Synthwave Fans here?

Synthwave is a style of music (aka Retrowave) which basically tries to emulate 1980s movie soundtracks, its been used in games like Far Cry 3 blood dragon (the entire soundtrack was by a synthwave band called Powerglove) Hotline Miami etc.

Synthwave is the tits. I've been listening to the Stranger Sings OST a lot lately. Perturbator are also good. I love 80s synth music so it's not surprising that I love this.

There seems to be an influx recently. Many of them have strangely reactionary views for anime fans.

Seriously tho, I like synthwave, but it's a passing thing. Other than few original artists, it's mostly a genre filled with rehashes of rehashes, and is losing its momentum.

I like it, problem is when looking for good synthwave online, you're met with a lot of "electronic" which amounts to auto tune or dubstep. Maybe I'm not good at looking, but good synthwave songs seem far and few between.
