Anyone else hate blatant national bias in a video game?

Lately battleships have been added to War Thunder, and let me just tally up some numbers for you.

Helgoland (best German battleship in game currently)

8 Gun Broadside with either 296mm (at 10k meters) 13.6kg TNT filler, or 101mm with 27mm

Zero (0) AA of any kind.

300mm of max armor, not enough to actually mean much over any other ship however

14 150mm guns firing the worst shells they ever fired with only 1kg of explosives

Vs

Gangut Class

12 gun broadside (50% more dakka) with either 341mm at 10km with 13kg, or 245mm at 10km with 55kg of TNT!!!!

4 AA guns which might actually take out a bad player flying a plane

262mm of armor (but covering much more)

20 130mm guns (higher ROF too!) with 4kg of explosives

Its not even a contested thought, the Russian ship is superior in almost every way and has features the German one lacks entirely (I should add that both ships face postwar aircraft, meaning 'any' AA is preferred)

Curiously not a single person on any forum, or reddit, have discussed this and I am very curious on 'why'.

>War Thunder
>Russian bias
I, too, am extraordinarily shocked. Isn't it the same in World of Warships, also by a russian game designer, and World of Tanks?

World of Tanks had hidden stats for Russian tanks buried in the game files people uncovered despite years of the dev denying it. I don't know if they got rid of them but they were there.

Here's the amusing thing though, in many ways Soviet stuff are actually pretty weak, but 'new' additions are always Russian-biased until they are 'adjusted'.

Gaijin/War Thunder had much of the same, there's hidden code to make 'some' players bounce more/not penetrate/lose, the CEO confirmed it existed at least at once point but was not allowed to say if it was still in the game.

Literal rigging of the game lol.

On I swear the t-34 moves way too fast then it has any right to. Max speed was 33 mph, yet it's speeds past most of everything else by a wide margin.

Military sims like these always seem to miss the forest for the trees. As for blatant national bias I have become immune to it due to living in the United States.

Happens in most games in favor of western nations, specially the US, but you don't see people complaining about it because most of the video game consumer market comes from the US and Western Europe. People complain so much about it on War Thunder simply because the direction of the bias is not the usual one.

For example, the spec ops raid that supposedly killed Bin Laden in Pakistan was carried out by 79 special forces operatives on 5 helicopters against only 4 guys including Bin Laden, and they had to prepare for the raid for a whole year, but if it was some US-made first-person shooter like Call of Duty or Battlefield it would have been just one soldier killing 500 enemy combatants with no preparation or planing whatsoever until he would personally find and kill Bin Laden. And nobody would call it a bullshit story biased in favor of the US.

People have called Call of Duty's bullshit frequently and consistently.
